Sleeping Dragon Motel

The room was warm and nice, and it was a simple place with everything I needed, so I could give it five stars for that. In reality, though, it’s a three-star motel. The room had a lock, but the hotel’s front door didn’t. It seemed like locals were renting the rooms.

We were trying to find a room while traveling, but the office looked closed when we arrived. We could hear someone behind it, so we knocked and tried to get their attention. We called, and someone answered saying a person should be at the desk. Whoever was inside had heard the whole conversation but kept the office closed and ignored us. We left and will never go back. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Rates are very good, and the place was clean, friendly, and quiet. It’s under renovations, so I can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’ll be back.

The rooms were okay, the washrooms were good, and the hospitality was great. The internet connection was good too, which isn’t always the case at motels in the area.
