The tub was gross, and the shower only had ice-cold water, no warmth at all. The bathroom mirror was really dirty too. The sheet felt itchy and didn’t seem clean, and the towel had a stain on it.

I paid $145 for one night, and it wasn’t worth it. The sheets smelled bad, and the white towels smelled too and looked yellowish, which made me uncomfortable trying to sleep. Booking without checking the reviews first was my mistake, but the stay caused me a lot of inconvenience as a traveler. Never again.

The room was dirty, with dust and wood chips on the bedsheet, and it was super warm because there was no AC. When we complained, the receptionist said they could turn on the central AC. On top of that, nobody told me about the $300 damage deposit they would deduct from my account. I only noticed it when I checked my transaction report. That’s higher than deposits at other good hotels in the area. Terrible experience. I’d never recommend this place.

I’d booked six days at The Kingsway Inn Motel, but after a recent car accident left me with injured, bruised ribs, I needed to leave two days early to get medical attention. They returned my $400 deposit, though that amount is outrageous for a budget hotel with such poor service. The owner and manager refused to refund the two unused nights, even after I explained the situation. They seemed to care only about money, not my injuries. In all my years traveling and doing business, I’ve never had a hotel refuse a refund for an early checkout. This was the first. I strongly recommend against staying here, especially if you expect compassion when injured.
