Seasons Extended Stay Suites

It felt like a home away from home, and I had a really pleasant stay. I’d happily come back anytime!

The suite itself made my wife say, “WOW, this place is AMAZING!” It had a couch, sitting chair, kitchen table and chairs, a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans and utensils, a washer and dryer, a huge master bedroom with two beds, and a very nice bathroom. It really felt like a home on the road. The place was quiet and clean, almost like being in the country, yet only three minutes outside the city. We were back on the highway heading west within five minutes, with no traffic congestion, just smooth driving. Since we stayed two nights, the price was reduced by $10.00 per night. This was the best place I’ve ever stayed while traveling, and it happened by accident. My wife and I had driven from Edmonton to Southern Ontario to visit family. I booked the places on the way there, but on the return trip we decided to stop when we wanted and take our chances finding a room. After two days we realized most places were full and it was getting hard to find a room. The day before, while in Kapuskasing, I found this place and tried to book on the website. When I got no reply after a few hours, I called. Jodi answered and had a suite for the two nights we needed. We arrived around 2:30 pm and were standing among several complexes, unsure which building to report to because we’d entered away from the front office. Jodi came over almost running to ask if we needed anything. After we said we were the people who had requested a suite the day before, she explained that bathroom fan repairs meant our suite wasn’t quite ready. She took us to the front office, handled the paperwork, explained the area and how to lock and unlock the doors, then sent us on a shopping trip for what we’d need for the two nights. She said she’d let us know when the room was ready, and later texted to say we could go in. Thank you, Jodi and your staff, for a truly amazing place to stay!!!

There was enough room for me, my kids, and my brother to each have our own space. The suite was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the woods from my window, and the beds were comfortable. Having laundry in the suite was awesome, and being able to BBQ my own food was a big plus. It was also close to all the amenities we needed, including shopping, food, and a golf course. Next time I visit Thunder Bay, I’ll stay here with my family again. Such an amazing alternative to a hotel.
