Ramada by Wyndham Belleville Harbourview Conference Centre

The room had no ceiling lights, so I had to spend my stay in the dark. The toilet hissed all night, and the shower leaked. Breakfast was edible, and the omelettes were yummy. We tried the pool, but it was closed because there was no lifeguard on duty. Rebooking by phone was confusing. We’d used the Ramada Inn website, but they said we had booked through a third-party provider. After some unclear arguing, they agreed to rebook for the dates we needed. Then, without telling me, they changed one room to a suite and charged me twice what I’d originally paid. Very disappointed. The stay definitely wasn’t worth the price.

The Wyndham is older and showing its age in places, but it gave me a comfortable, relaxed place to cope with a lot. I’d lost my house in a fire and arrived looking like a complete wreck, clearly shaken. From arrival to departure, the staff and management were positive, and the GM was absolutely amazing. I had a beautiful view and got to use the sauna and pool. Thank you, Wyndham, and thank you Fasil. Your kindness made all the difference.

The view and balcony were lovely, and the breakfast had plenty of variety. I’d prefer regular bacon to turkey bacon, though. The rooms were clean but tired, while the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was quiet despite being busy. I’d stay again.

The staff were really nice and cooperative, and upgraded me to a larger suite after I found the first room dirty, with used towels and inadequate cleaning. The customer service was great, but the rooms weren’t impressive. The washroom was outdated, wallpaper was peeling everywhere, and the king bed and other furniture were clearly old. I wouldn’t pay extra for the large suite, and the regular king suite wasn’t worth the price either. For the quality, it felt overpriced. There are better choices in the area at the same price.
