Being able to spend time simply relaxing by the water, feeling the sun and taking in the peaceful surroundings meant so much to my aunt. She is receiving palliative care, and this getaway let her take a break from appointments, routines, and the weight of medical care. Our family will always be grateful for what she experienced at Kingfisher Pacific Resort & Spa. The room felt like a little sanctuary: spacious, peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. She slept well and felt comfortable and cared for, which matters so much at this point in her life. The grounds were lovely too, with quiet ocean views, beautifully kept gardens, and a calming West Coast feel. Even the air seemed restorative. Meals became something joyful to look forward to. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff were patient, kind, and attentive without making her feel overwhelmed. A special thank you to Ines for arranging the stay with such compassion and care. Your coordination brought it all together and gave our family memories we will cherish. It was a peaceful place to rest during a tender chapter of life. Five stars hardly seem enough. We're speechless and so grateful.

We always book an hour in the pool before our treatments, and the treatments and staff have been great every time. I first tried the Healing Caves on this second visit, after coming to Kingfisher four times before, and I love both those and the HydroPath treatments. The Pacific Mist Spa is what brings us here. The grounds are already pretty, and we enjoy strolling through the gardens. Great place, and I'll be back.

The food was reliably good, especially the seafood platter, and the KFC Bowl was my favorite, fresh and full of flavor. Julie's inventive cocktail list was another highlight. The red-haired bartender brought such lively, personal service that the lounge felt like the resort's hub. Our Saturday birthday dinner at Ocean 7 got off to a bad start with a server who seemed unhappy and disengaged. We asked to move over to the Aqua lounge, and Stephanie, the host, handled the change with so much warmth and grace that she saved the celebration and gave us a much better setting. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with staff who were professional and friendly. The walking trails are lovely, though rooms facing the courtyard don't feel very private because common paths run so close by. The room was spotless and well kept, but the bed wasn't very comfortable and the layout felt more suited to sleeping than relaxing.

We first came to Kingfisher Resort & Spa three years ago for my best friend's birthday weekend, and that stay was memorable enough that we returned for my 50th. It was wonderful again from beginning to end. Our clean, comfortable room had everything we needed, and even with some landscaping work underway, the grounds still looked stunning. We ate well in both the restaurant and lounge, with top-notch food and good value. The hashbrowns, BBQ sablefish, and chicken dish stood out, and I loved that the vegan dessert was something more creative than sorbet. Everyone serving us was friendly and attentive, and they took real care with our dietary restrictions. Julie deserves a shout-out for her excellent, inventive cocktails. We also did both the HydroPath and Healing Caves, and I highly recommend these unique spa experiences. Can't wait to come back!

The food and views were excellent, and the rooms were nice apart from the shower. I also liked the firepits in the evening. We were happy with our stay, though the place feels small and a bit aged beside a high-end luxury spa resort. Given the room and spa prices, you might wonder if it's good value. The Thermal Spa felt overpriced for what you get. We didn't try the Caves.
