Stefanie was a pleasure to work with: welcoming, organized, and clearly committed to showing what makes Hillside Lodge and Chalets special. I provided drone photography, a 360° virtual tour, and regular photos of the property in 2022. The lodge is a peaceful little find a short drive from Golden, with charming cabins and lovely river and forest views. It also makes a beautiful natural setting for weddings. I highly recommend it for the scenery, quiet, and hospitality.

Our wedding reception needed a more intimate forest setting after the ceremony at Kicking Horse, and Hillside was just right. We first toured the cabins in August, then got married there the next August. Stef was easy to work with, answered our questions promptly, communicated clearly, and offered helpful advice while we planned from another province. Our wedding party loved their on-site cabins, and Stef's husband was great too. They welcomed our two dogs. We'd happily stay again.

The Barn looked huge and beautiful once it was decorated, and the grounds were easy to walk around. My son and his bride got married here in September. The cabins were quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the views were gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the venue.

The wedding went off without a hitch, and the staff were wonderful. Our daughter chose Hillside for her wedding, and it was a pretty setting. The cabins were comfortable, clean, and well equipped, while check-in and checkout were simple. Great job, and thank you!

The barn has a rustic, stunning look, and it was heated. There was lots of parking, lawn games, and privacy. We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding. I just got married here, and it was beautiful. The cabins are cozy, the scenery takes your breath away, and the service is top notch. My one change would be better lighting and more counter space in the bridal suite for makeup and hair tools, though it was still a cute room. We love that Hillside supports Love is Love.
