The Birch

The lake view was wonderful, and the small touches like the high quality soap and lotion were nice too. My husband notices everything, and even he pointed out how much cleaner The Birch was than most places. The people were kind, and we’ll be back.

They were really helpful and quick to respond. We stayed in Wellington cottage-4, which had a great kitchen setup if that's what you need. The room itself was small, but it’s a really great spot.

We found The Birch at the last minute while visiting Wellington, and it turned out to be such a great find. Stephen made our family’s short notice visit easy and was very accommodating. Check-in and check-out were simple, and everything was clean and comfortable. The cottages have loads of charm and look even better than the pictures. The owners clearly care about the space and the guest experience. There are great amenities nearby, and it’s about a 10-12 minute walk to the town center. We’ll stay longer next time.

The location makes it easy to walk to dinner in Wellington and back to the cottage, and there are plenty of lovely wineries to visit during the day. We’ve stayed here twice and plan to come again. The cottages are beautifully decorated and spotless. We also loved having waterfront access and private spots to sit and relax. Thanks to the host for keeping communication so good. Highly recommend, 5/5.
