The pool and hot tub were highlights, with controlled temperatures that made them enjoyable in the cool weather. We also loved the views over the lake and city. The room was clean, tidy, and well equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, utensils, and everything else we needed. A complimentary gift set on the table was a thoughtful welcome, and staff were responsive, helpful, and easy to reach by phone. Towels and services were readily available. We checked in through the main reception at Seasons at Blue. The weather wasn't very cooperative, but the property made up for a lot. The air conditioner wasn't working at first, and outside music, laughter, and children playing made it hard to leave the windows open at night. After a few attempts, the AC issue was fixed, and the second night was much better. One elevator was out of service, and the remaining one felt slow and dated. Sometimes we waited 5-10 minutes to get upstairs. When we asked about extending, staff gave us different information, and online rates seemed cheaper than the reception rates. We decided not to extend, mainly because of the weather.

The room had a comfortable bed, kitchen, dining table, big living-room fireplace, balcony, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and two sinks. It was well supplied with soap, shampoo and conditioner, utensils, a coffee maker, and plenty of towels. There were USB ports on both sides of the bed. The room key also opened the underground parking, where signs made it easy to find the resort's designated area. Being steps from the conference centre was very convenient. Check-in can be slow, as I'd read, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. I was at a conference and got to my room several hours early. When the smoke detector needed attention, I called the front desk and maintenance arrived within 20 minutes to replace it. They were friendly too. The building seems a bit older, but staff were cleaning and maintaining it, and the fourth-floor hallway was being painted when I checked out. A good stay.

I could barely sleep. Music was blasting until 11:30 pm, supposedly from the shops, and I could hear conversations and footsteps from upstairs. At 2 am there were drunken people leaving the bars, loud enough to hear. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. The room also seemed like it might not have been cleaned between guests. Garbage from previous guests was still full, there was hair in the shower, food on the floor by the table, and the bathroom door was filthy.

We had the perfect stay in a two-bedroom suite with our family. The separate bedrooms gave us the privacy we needed, and the living room was cozy for spending time together. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, and the well-equipped kitchen made traveling with kids so much easier. One of our best stays!

The balcony view was fantastic, and the colours this time of year are something else. Seasons at Blue was recommended as recently renovated, and it worked perfectly for my visit. Parking and finding my room were easy, and the location is central, with a short walk to wherever you need to go at Blue Mountain. I’d happily come back. Enjoy!
