I came for breakfast with two friends, though I didn't stay at the inn. The eggs Benedict were the best I've had in 25 years, and both friends enjoyed their egg and meat breakfasts too. Our server was a lovely host. She works days, and her mom works evenings, though I didn't catch her name. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and turned the music down when it was a little loud for one of my friends. We'll definitely come back.

The pulled pork lunch was just the right size, and the hand-cut fries were great. The soup was top notch too, though the burger was a bit dry. Everyone, Delilah, Abby, Hailey, and John, made us feel welcome. The room was cozy, with lovely architecture and historic pictures. A great place to get away and step back to simpler days.

For $19.99, the lunch special came with a burger, fries, and a choice of beer, Pinot Grigio, or Cabernet Sauvignon. It was a good, not-too-heavy lunch, and having a 6 oz Cab Sauv on a beautiful fall day was a nice treat. I don't know where else you can get good food, a drink, and such excellent service for that price these days. I'll definitely be back.

We went to the Inn for dinner this past weekend to celebrate a belated birthday, though we didn't stay there. The food and service were amazing, and it's such a cozy, beautiful spot.

I ordered the seafood pasta with oil and garlic, and it was wonderful and reasonably priced. I've never had a disappointing meal at the Little Inn, and tonight lived up to what I expect. The place is charming, with a lovely atmosphere and a professional staff who work well together. Sydney, who works at the bar, was an excellent server, and Sheri was wonderful too. Kim was mean to me as always. Just kidding, I appreciate her consistency. I'd definitely order the pasta again. Put the Little Inn of Bayfield on your list.
