Bed & Breakfast Gite La Princesse des Champs

From the balcony, we could see the river and the city, and the rooms were clean and cozy. It’s only around a 15-minute drive to Quebec City. We had a wonderful stay, with kind, accommodating hosts, a great breakfast with plenty of choices, and fun conversations with the other guests. Definitely recommend :)

The terrace gave me a lovely view of the St. Lawrence River, and I even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. I also remember the bright sunrise and the starry sky at night. The owner made a healthy breakfast by hand, which made the stay feel special. The accommodation is in a quiet, peaceful area not far from downtown Quebec.

It was our first bed and breakfast in Canada, and we really enjoyed it. Alex was an accommodating host and shared plenty of helpful tips for getting around. The deck also has a view of Quebec’s skyline. Since the place is so close to the waterfalls and the island, we managed to explore quite a lot during our couple of days in Quebec.

The homemade breakfast was made fresh to order, and the place was quiet and very clean. We felt right at home with the lively family who runs this B&B. For the price, it’s a good place to stay, with panoramic views across the St Lawrence to Quebec City. The falls are next door, and Old Quebec City parking lots are an easy 15-minute drive away. We’d come back.
