We couldn’t get out of there fast enough after deciding one night was plenty. The first night’s sleep was terrible, partly because a foul, musty smell kept me awake, and I was worried my car might be stolen or broken into. The building is old and doesn’t seem properly maintained. The area wasn’t good, and my first reaction on arrival was, what did I get us into? Check-in felt awkward and old school. The room seemed clean at first, but turned out to be dirty and disgusting, and the door didn’t shut securely. I was glad I brought my own towels, since there was only one for three people. In the morning, the continental breakfast was cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast from an actual toaster, Costco muffins cut in half, and milk sitting out in a dollar store jug. We went somewhere else for a better breakfast. We checked out after one night. The man at checkout never asked if anything was wrong, and refunded us for the second night. Another couple were also leaving early and wanted a refund. We got $236.64 back on a two-night total of $519.68, which wasn’t half and didn’t feel fair. I really wanted all my money back, but just wanted to leave. This run-down place costs an insane amount. Wyndham Hotels should be embarrassed to have it under their name, and maybe should do random and health inspections, including of that “continental breakfast”.

The receptionist was very rude, and the woman at the desk wasn’t kind about my disability. I decided to take my business elsewhere. For a budget motel, you’d think they’d have someone better trained in customer service.

We were evacuated from our community because of wildfires and stayed here for three days. It was a really disappointing experience. We had a family of four facing the possibility of losing our home, and the staff were cold and unhelpful. One worker even hung up on me twice during a phone call. There was no empathy for evacuees. Two other hotels we stayed at waived deposits because of our situation, but this one required $200. They deducted two separate pet deposits even though we only had one pet, so we got just $140 back. ESS covered our hotel and meals, but because of the deposit, we went without food for two days. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in a similar situation.

The owner made us move our van, even though we’d parked in a safe spot that wasn’t in anyone’s way. Parking is very tight. The room was small and dark, with only double beds, and breakfast was below average too. On the way there, I swerved to miss a dog and banged up the side mirror. The owner was an interfering busybody. I’d never recommend this place.
