The staff made the biggest impression on me. On the morning of our visit, hours before we were due to arrive, the manager called to explain that our upgrade was to a larger room near the ice machine and elevator, despite my request not to be near them. One of her team had spotted the mismatch the night before and wanted to ask whether we still wanted the upgrade or preferred a room away from those areas. I chose to be away from the elevator. The room was still large, comfortable, and nicely decorated. That kind of thoughtfulness started before we even arrived, and it’s clear this family-owned business cares about the guest experience. Thanks to the Thompson Hotel team. I’d happily recommend it. The property is right in the downtown core, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions. My room was immaculate, spacious, and well outfitted, and it was very good value. The place is clearly cared for and maintained.

We were there near Christmas, visiting friends in Kamloops. My husband and I brought our dog, and another couple stayed in a separate room. The staff were great, let us check in early, and were kind to our dog. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner together at the on-site restaurant, and 10/10, I’d also recommend the noble pig. The common areas were a fun place to catch up. We especially enjoyed the arcade and pinball, and the pool and hot tub were really nice. The on-site pub was good too. We had a fantastic stay, and we’ll be back if we visit Kamloops again.

Even though it was a busy holiday weekend, they found room for my boyfriend and me at the last minute. The staff were incredibly friendly. We only stayed briefly, but it seemed like a great place for a relaxing getaway. It’s very family-friendly, especially if you have kids. The pool, arcade, and theater room looked like a lot of fun, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. We’ll be back. Thanks so much!

The pool was out of service, and our view was of a car park. The hotel photos don’t really match what you get; they seem to show only its best side. Still, the place was clean and modern overall, and good value for money.

We stopped overnight on the way from Vancouver to Revelstoke so we wouldn’t have to drive Roger's pass in the dark. It worked perfectly for a winter break: the rooms were very clean, the staff lovely, and there was covered parking. Plenty of places to eat and drink were just a few minutes’ walk away. We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated how friendly the hotel staff were 😊
