Days Inn by Wyndham Bonnyville

Breakfast had lots of options, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The heater was set to 27 degrees Celsius when we arrived, which made the room really uncomfortable. We could also hear other guests talking in the hallway in the morning, and they weren't being respectful of others. The beds are very firm, so they may suit you if that's what you like. I probably wouldn't stay again, as I'd rather pay a few dollars more for a more comfortable bed.

The room was spacious, with a full kitchen, living area, and king-size bed, which would be handy if you're working nearby. It was very clean, the staff were accommodating, and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The price was reasonable compared with other hotels in Bonnyville, and I'd recommend it.

The elevator is extremely loud and will keep you awake if your room is near it. I asked to move farther away, but they put me on another floor in a room right across from the elevator shaft. My company and I won't be coming back.

For $175 a night, I expected more of the basics, especially since much cheaper places manage them. The heater sounded like a jet engine and woke me several times. After working all day in -30 weather, I came back to water that barely got lukewarm for a shower. The room coffee and amenities weren't replaced when it was cleaned, and there was no soap or body lotion in the dispensers. The hotel is okay, but very overpriced.
