Yamnuska Suites

The place may feel a little cold, but during peak season it’s worth what you pay compared with other options. The host responded really quickly and helped whenever we needed something. I’d recommend it 100% if you’re on a tight budget.

The comfortable bed made for an awesome night, and the recliner couch was a nice touch. I liked the homey feel and the decor, too. There were some crumbs on the counter when we arrived and a few balls of pet fur on the couch pillows, so the room could have been cleaner. There’s no A/C, though it stayed fairly cool without it. Good value in a great location for tourists, and I’d recommend it.

Our studio suite was cozy and very clean, including the bathroom, which had all the usual supplies. It worked perfectly for a short stay when we didn’t need a stove. The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, sink, dishes and utensils, plus a toaster and kettle. There’s also a shared BBQ on the property. Access was easy and the place is just off the highway, though that did mean traffic noise started early in the morning.

We stayed on Aug 17 and were very impressed. The suites are awesome and such good value for the price. There’s a BBQ if you want to use it. We’ll definitely stay in these adorable suites again and make this our regular stop when travelling between BC and Saskatchewan.
