Best Western Plus Bowmanville

We stayed for just one night with our two little kids, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the customer service was excellent. It’s also a convenient stop while travelling, so we’ll definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was a real highlight, especially being able to eat off proper plates, and the pool was beautiful. The place was spotlessly clean, with a team that clearly knows what they’re doing. Service was exceptional from start to finish.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but trying to book a block of rooms for a girls’ sports event here was a complete waste of time. Replies took ages, I had to call several times, and nobody seemed organized or clear about what was happening. Nearly two weeks later, I finally got a quote for a King room, though that hadn’t been specified in the first email. I had already said each room would have 3-4 people. Only when I said we’d go ahead did she explain that the quote was for a King room, not a room with two queens, and that the price for that was higher. It felt calculated and slimy, and she wouldn’t honor the original quote. I booked elsewhere and got much faster, more helpful service. I’ve told our club and will share this with the provincial association. I’d strongly advise sports teams and large groups to stay clear. One star feels generous.

A decent place to stay, especially if you need a room with a full kitchen. It’s pet friendly for a fee, the price was reasonable, and the front desk staff were professional. There’s a small counter with snacks and pop, and the location is close to plenty of things. That said, there seems to be a water damage problem: there was an active leak in the lobby in Dec 2025, and signs of older leaks on the ceiling and floor in the room. Still, I’d recommend it.
