Quality Inn

We had a lovely stay and hope to return. The river view from the windows was beautiful, and the rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and the amenities were excellent. There was a great pool and restaurant, plus a bowling alley. With kids along and affordable prices, what more could you ask for?

The kids had a blast at the bowling alley, and the pool was nice too. The gym was good, and being pet-friendly was the best part for us. Staff at the desk were really accommodating, and the maids were very helpful and nice. The room could have used carpet, but otherwise it was just fine.

My children and I were especially disappointed by this stay. The room was never cleaned on the second day, even though I went to reception specifically to arrange it before I returned. When I complained, the receptionist said they only made sure the room was suitable for the second night and that no housekeeping staff were available. She said she’d treat it as a priority, but nobody followed up for the rest of our stay. There seemed to be very few staff and little service for the high price. When I called reception for anything, I was told either they didn’t have it or I had to come collect it myself. This was one of my worst hotel experiences, and I’d strongly advise others to stay away.

I usually don’t write hotel reviews, but this stay was really disappointing. Someone keyed the whole driver’s side of my car, from front to back, in the parking lot. I told management as soon as I found out at sunrise. They said there were no cameras covering the lot, only the front entrance. Having outside cameras could at least have given me evidence for my insurance claim. When I raised the issue, all they did was write a note in their book. I’m paying for the stay and now have to cover the paint repair too. The room wasn’t great either. Flies kept appearing inside, and there was fungus in the shower.
