The room was clean and pleasant, check-in was quick, and the reception attendant was friendly. The hotel itself seemed clean and well maintained. Still, a noisy heater/AC unit bothered us. We booked for Family Day weekend 2026 partly because of the large waterslide and pool, planning for the kids to swim most of the day. When we went on Sunday, the pool was closed for swimming lessons for two hours. The website didn’t mention closures, and neither did anyone at check-in. The service desk staff didn’t know it was closed until we told them we couldn’t get in. The waterslide only runs for a few morning hours on certain days, with no hours listed online either. It felt like a fancy showpiece used to attract families.

Everything was broken, and when we asked for a replacement hair dryer, they refused. We booked a suite expecting two rooms, but got one bed and a single pull-out, and the rooms were so small we could barely move. There was garbage outside our room that wasn’t ours. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to, and I’m never coming back.

I was in town for business and found the location handy, near the international center and airport with easy access. My room was fantastic, very clean, and had a comfortable king-size bed. I didn’t try the gym or pool, so I can’t speak to those. The bathroom light was extremely dim, which made putting on makeup difficult, but I was there just one night and didn’t ask for a bulb change. Breakfast was included. There’s also a little bar, a surprise in a small hotel, with a decent wine selection and quite good food. It was a comfortable place for a cocktail at the end of the day, and Tim. Hortons is just across the parking lot for morning coffee.

We barely needed the front desk, but check-in was easy and quick. The man there greeted us warmly, was very polite, gave us complimentary water bottles, and explained the hotel services schedule. Our king suite was cozy, with comfortable furniture, a TV that let us stream whatever we wanted, and a spa bath my boyfriend and I really enjoyed. We didn’t hear our neighbours, so it was quiet. Checkout was really quick, with no need to tap anything, and they sent the security deposit refund as soon as we checked out. A really great hotel for a really great price.
