The views, food, and workers at The Backeddy Resort and marina were all amazing. There’s so much to do, from hiking and fishing to kayaking and other activities, which makes it one of the best spots to visit on the Sunshine Coast. The cabin’s wood stove sounds especially nice if you like the colder months, though summer there is beautiful too. I’ll definitely be back.

As someone local to the Sunshine Coast, I see the Backeddy as a destination. The view from the patio and dining room is among the best, and the food is amazing. The staff are really courteous, too. There’s live music as well.

There are lots of places to stay here, from the fun retro A Frame cabins and domes to the lodge and waterfront cabins. The staff are incredible, and the pub/restaurant serves the BEST Fish & Chips on the coast, plus plenty of other great dishes. With BC's beautiful ocean and the coastal mountains as a backdrop, it’s a wonderful getaway. I’d happily come back again and again.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we came back to the pub for dinner two nights running. The tacos, chowder, burgers, and fish and chips were all great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We even watched a seal catch a fish from the patio. Finding parking on Saturday night was impossible.

We went for New Year's Eve and got a fabulous deal. The service was excellent, and the food was superb.
