Park Inn by Radisson Brampton, On

My stay left me angry and disgusted, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel or come back. It felt neglected and low quality, at times more like a garbage yard than a place people pay to stay. The cleaner, who told me her name was Simar, was loud, argued with coworkers, and stayed on her phone. When I asked for a towel, she responded with an attitude that made me feel disrespected for even asking. Her manner didn't seem suited to hospitality, and it came across like she had no customer service experience and didn't care about the job. She didn't properly service the room either. She knocked, left a paper at the door, and walked away without cleaning or checking anything. In my experience, the place wasn't worth a penny.

The sheets felt fresh and clean, and the room was in acceptable condition, so the stay was decent. There was a lingering, noticeable smell in the hallway, though, and the room was missing the mini-fridge I expected.

My family and I spent two days here last weekend. The room and service were average, but the man with a turban at the front desk was really nice. His warm welcome and polite manner made up for the hotel's shortcomings.

We stayed at Park Inn by Radisson, Brampton from August 26 to 28, 2025, checking into a king room on the third floor late on the 26th. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient though not central. But the door dragged on the floor and made an irritating noise, a corner lamp didn't work, and there were only three pillows instead of four. I told the staff member who checked us in. She asked us to give it 10 minutes, but nothing had happened after 10, 15, or even 30 minutes. When I called again, someone else told me to come downstairs for a pillow. He then said there were no extra pillows and that king rooms always have three, which I'd never heard before. He showed me a notepad where he'd supposedly recorded our issue, but our room number wasn't there. We went out for an urgent meeting at 9:30 the next morning and came back at 5. The lamp had been fixed, but the pillow still hadn't arrived. A different staff member, a gentleman wearing a turban, brought it to our room himself. He was polite, attentive, and professional, and the only person who seemed to care about customer service. I didn't get his name, but he is why I gave service three stars instead of one. We checked out at 10:35 AM on August 28. My ratings: rooms five stars, location four, service three, overall four out of five. The hotel itself is fine, but management should build a team that cares about guests instead of making excuses. One dedicated staff member made a real difference, while others seemed uninterested.
