The staff were responsive and very accommodating, and our room was immaculate and comfortable, with a delicious assortment of snacks. This B&B is stunning, from the curated design details throughout to the quality renovation and fixtures. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I’m looking forward to coming back, and would strongly recommend it to couples or solo travellers looking for a high-quality experience.

We had a really enjoyable two-night stay at the Widowspeak. The house and building were beautiful, and the room and interior felt clean and modern. Its Brockville location was just right, close to everything without being in a busy spot. Jen was easy to work with, and everything we needed was provided. If you don’t mind the stairs, go up to the peak of the spire for a peaceful spot and a tremendous view. I recommend the Widowspeak and hope to stay again.

Widows Peak is a lovely place to stay in Brockville, in a quiet area close to the river and downtown. Our rooms were beautifully set up with all the amenities you’d have at home, plus plenty of snacks and drinks and a very nice continental breakfast. Your host Jennifer really aims to please.

The rooms had everything we could need, plus cookies and snacks everywhere, so be careful or you might leave a few pounds heavier. My wife and I are already talking about coming back next year with friends. I travel all over North America for work, and this is among the nicest places I’ve stayed. The owners paid close attention without crowding us, and the service was excellent. The building is beautiful, with an exterior deck overlooking downtown and a limited view of the seaway. There are a lot of stairs, though. Every room is on the third floor and there’s no elevator, so anyone with a mobility disability may want to reconsider. I have an artificial leg and managed the climb fine, including the trip up to the Widows Peek. Those stairs were a bit tricky, but the view made it well worth it.

I paid extra for a room advertised with a “sea view,” but there was no sea view at all. The online photos were misleading and didn’t match what I found. When I complained, the staff weren’t helpful, and someone even hung up on me. I ended up having to leave the hotel. I’m still having trouble getting a full refund. It’s unacceptable in 2026 for a hotel to mislead customers with fake pictures. Extremely disappointing. Avoid this place at all costs.
