The hotel is only about 3 years old, very clean, and easy to get to. Shops and other local services are just a few minutes’ walk or a short drive away. The rooms are comfortable, and it feels safe. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it. The staff made the stay especially memorable. I met general manager Shelley, who gave us a lot of her valuable time and went out of her way to help. She was kind, diligent, understanding, empathetic, reasonable, friendly, and discreet. Thank you again, Shelley. Melanie was friendly too and helped when needed. Brian, who manages the hotel bar, is lively, approachable, and so friendly that a chat with him keeps things from getting boring. Thanks, Brian. I also unexpectedly ran into my good friend Mariam here. We’d lost touch for a couple of years after I lost my phone and changed my number. I’d asked for her at her old workplace, but she no longer worked there and I didn’t know where she’d gone. Then we met again at this hotel, where she kindly helped me. The world really is a small place. I think you should treat people well, because you never know when or where you’ll meet again. Mariam is still friendly, peaceful, and quiet, and you can count on her diligence and kind assistance whenever possible.

We were at the Hampton Inn in Burlington on Appleby Line from January 15-17, on the 6th floor. Several kids’ hockey teams were staying there too, and it made for a pretty unpleasant visit. All day on both days, kids ran through the halls yelling and playing hockey as if the place were their playground. Ice was scattered around the elevator area, and there was no consideration for other guests or the hotel. The parents were nowhere to be seen, either in their rooms or downstairs in the dining area, leaving the kids on their own. That’s not acceptable. We called the front desk a couple of times about what was going on, but it didn’t seem to stop. The hotel should do more to curb this kind of inconsiderate behavior and have a plan when it happens. It could warn guests during booking if large groups that might be disruptive are expected, so people can consider other options. If that can’t be done, the hotel needs to hold parents accountable, enforce a rule against leaving kids unattended, or remind guests that hallways are shared spaces and set appropriate consequences.

Free parking, reasonable rates, clean rooms, and nice bathrooms with long counters, modern fixtures, and a big shower with good hot water. This new location is top notch, just minutes from the highway and a short drive from Mississauga. The breakfast team deserves six stars. JESUS and NELL were so kind and attentive, and Jesus welcomed me like a VIP. Later I saw him down on his hands and knees cleaning the table bases. The food was hot, fresh, and nicely presented, with vegetation options on the menu. JOHN, on the night shift, was pleasant and kind, and went out of his way to get us a late checkout. MELANIE checked us in quickly on the evening shift, then kindly tracked down the water bottle I’d left in our room after checkout. CAROLINE graciously extended our late checkout and invited my party to use the dining room for as long as we wanted. Stay here!

The coffee being available all day was much appreciated, and the warm apple strudels each afternoon were a great touch. Breakfast was organized and efficient, and everything was very clean. We stayed 7 nights and were comfortable. There was a problem with our first room at check-in, but the hotel manager sorted it out quickly.

My company booked me into the Hampton Suites Burlington, and it was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, and the beds were so comfortable. I felt relaxed and peaceful there. I’d recommend this Hotel for meetings, events, or just a rest, and I’d definitely stay again.
