Arnica

It's about a 15-minute walk from Arnica B&B to downtown and its cute shops, with a nice view along the way. We didn't need to pay for parking. Inside, the room and bathroom were impressively clean, and everything from the soap and shampoo to the mini fridge with water seemed thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was great too. We had an amazing stay and would come back. It was perfect!

Breakfast began at 8:30am, and the hosts were very kind. There was free parking, and Old Town was a 15-minute walk away. If you want to cut down on walking, I'd suggest driving a little closer and finding free roadside parking. The rooms were wonderfully clean, with the bed and bathroom feeling almost brand new. I had a wonderful stay, well above what I expected.

Dan and Linda were easily the nicest hosts I've ever met. Everything was perfect, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying with them.

The rooms are all upstairs, so keep that in mind if stairs are a problem. I managed by taking it slow. Dan was lovely and tried to make sure we had what we needed, and we'd go back. The B&B is close to the historic area, shops, restaurants and wineries. We liked sitting on the covered porch, watching birds and hearing the wind in the trees, and the shared lounge with its couch, chair, coffee maker and microwave was handy too. Our room was the Winter Room, decorated with a winter theme; the Summer Room had a summer scene, and we didn't see the Autumn Room. There were air conditioners in the rooms. Ours had a King bed, Jacuzzi tub, shower and fridge, and our friend's room was clean and well appointed too. The wall pictures suited each room. Breakfasts were tasty, with coffee, yogurt or fresh fruit, an egg dish such as crepes or baked eggs, and sometimes Eggs Benedict. They also offered muffins, including banana chocolate chip and blueberry, with plastic bags if we wanted to take them along. For restaurants, we can recommend the Irish Harp Pub and the Niagara on the Lake Golf Course Restaurant.
