Sage Hills Motel

The room was super clean and had what I needed for an overnight stay. I liked it enough to return a month later on my way home after staying there on the first day of my vacation. They let me have the same room both times. Such nice, accommodating people. I’ll definitely stay again, and hope for that same room.

Frogs from the river behind the motel made noise all night, but it was a relaxing sound. The receptionists were welcoming and friendly, and we were able to cool our dinner comfortably. We also enjoyed the homemade egg sandwiches for breakfast. The facility is wearing out and could use some maintenance here and there. This was our last overnight stop on the way home to Vancouver, BC from Prince George. Thanks so much for the great hospitality. Love & Gratitude🌿🙏🏼💖🙏🏼🌿

After 11 hours of driving, my dog and I were worn out and needed somewhere for the night at the last minute. The Sage Hill Motel greeted us with smiles and so much warmth. The room was very clean and reasonably priced, and they even brought me a sandwich for breakfast. I ate it with a view of the sage hills behind the motel. Thank you both for being so welcoming and hospitable. I’ll choose the Sage Hill whenever I stay in Cache Creek from now on.

We had a room at the back facing the mountainside, and sat outside in our camp chairs to eat dinner and enjoy the fresh air. A river runs through the view down in a small canyon, which made the setting feel even more relaxing. The hosts, who seemed to be a husband and wife, were friendly and respectful. The wife offered to make homemade egg salad sandwiches herself and bring them in the morning. They were absolutely delicious. For the least expensive option, I wasn’t expecting much, but the room surprised me with its size and kitchenette, stocked with dishes, plus a good sized fridge and freezer. The bathroom was very clean, with newer flooring. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were nice, and the comforter and sheets were very clean. There was also a table with two chairs, a nice sized flat screen TV, and a large mirror that I appreciated. I’d highly recommend this motel as a pleasant stopover in Cache Creek.
