For a budget motel, this was a really good stay. From booking to checkout, the staff made it clear they cared about guests’ comfort. I called directly and got a discount on the internet price. Sorry, Ethan, maybe I shouldn’t share your offer with everyone! We got a call soon after settling in to check that everything was okay. The renovated room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the choice of pillows helped us sleep well. They even leave earplugs by the bed for highway noise, though we didn’t need them. The robes were a nice touch, and there were clean rags available so guests wouldn’t wipe mud off shoes with the towels. Parking stalls by the office had power, so I could charge my EV overnight. We were in Calgary to visit family and only needed a place to sleep, so paying extra for amenities we wouldn’t use didn’t make sense. What really won me over was an email after I got home saying housekeeping had found my phone charger, which I hadn’t even realized was missing, and went out of their way to return it. A small motel with a very big heart.

The prices are great, the rooms are clean, the beds decent, and the decor is fine. The service was outstanding, too. I arrived late and a staff member welcomed me, and having a 24hr desk made me feel safe and comfortable. I wasn’t sure how long I’d stay, but they accommodated my extra days, offered floor choices, and stayed attentive to any issues. I chose to remain on the 2nd floor. Very helpful and easy to deal with. Boutique Motel yup yup yup.

A quiet spot on the highway made it easy for us to head to Canmore the next day. We stayed one night to visit my cousin on the way there, and got the last main floor room, which worked well since my husband can’t climb stairs. The motel is charming, and I’d happily recommend it. The room had a spacious separate toilet and shower area, plus plenty of counter space by the sink for toiletries. The toilet paper holder was a bit far from the toilet, though layouts may vary. The air conditioner starting in the night woke me since I’m a light sleeper, but the bedside earplugs did the trick and I slept undisturbed after that. This is no average motel. The service was first class, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes and a display of clean white rags for spills or other cleanup. Both staff members I spoke with were smiling, friendly and welcoming. The person who took my reservation was efficient and thorough, reading my details back to make sure they were right.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the staff were kind and attentive whenever I needed help. Getting around from the location was easy. From check-in through checkout, my stay at Centro Motel felt smooth and welcoming. I’d gladly recommend it to friends and family.

I spent the night there on January 9 and was very comfortable. The room was spacious and organized, with clear instructions for what to use and how things worked. The Wi-Fi was good, and it’s pet friendly. I had my kitten with me, and I believe the charge was $15. Just let them know about your pet ahead of time when booking by phone. I also ordered food, which was delivered to the room.
