Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary Downtown

The area around the hotel, especially east of downtown, felt a little sketchy, with homelessness and drug activity nearby. The hotel itself felt safe, and walking along the west side of the building seemed like the better option when heading out. Inside, everything felt fresh and well kept. The room was spotless and modern, the towels were soft, and the bed was really comfortable. The gym had more than enough equipment, and I enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but the price felt fair for the comfort and quality.

Shelby at Shoe & Canoe Public House made our meal memorable. She was warm, attentive, and went out of her way to help. Her service reflected the welcoming hospitality we experienced at the hotel. We also loved the room: it was spotless, comfortable, and looked well cared for, with an impeccable view that made mornings feel special. Being right in downtown made it easy to explore the city. We had a fantastic stay at Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown and would gladly return.

The room was nice, but it wasn’t a good stay for the price. Kids were yelling and running around the halls, and the noise from the open pool echoed into our room. I even found an old paper coffee cup tucked between the bed and side table.

The breakfast was good, and the hotel’s location in Chinatown made it easy to find food. My room was clean and spacious, and everything worked well, including the air conditioning, which kept things warm or cool as needed. It was -22C while I was in Calgary. Vanessa in the restaurant was cheerful and attentive, and I really appreciated her hospitality. A front office woman was also helpful, though I didn’t get her name. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at while travelling, and I’ll be back next time I’m in Calgary. Definitely recommend. Greetings from Indonesia.
