Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South

Vicki, the event manager, was a huge help through a year of wedding planning. She patiently answered what felt like a million questions and always replied to emails quickly, making stressful moments much easier. I can’t thank her enough. We held our ceremony at the Delta Calgary South and were so happy with the choice. The room block and guest amenities worked well, and the hotel’s beautiful look gave us lovely spots for photos. Staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, and our guests were pleased with their clean, comfortable rooms. Thank you to Vicki and the whole team for making our day special. We highly recommend it.

The team really enjoyed staying here, especially the breakfast, which had different choices each morning. The sports lounge was another great perk, and our group could use it for free. We booked for a youth hockey group and found the hotel well located. From the start, the staff were polite and incredibly helpful. I mostly dealt with Paige, who patiently handled all my questions and requests. Vicki and Sarah were also great to work with. I’d highly recommend this place for its top notch service.

We spent four nights here with 12 teens for a tournament. The rooms worked well for everyone, and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The hotel is in a handy spot, with transit nearby and plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. Staff were kind and went out of their way to help us throughout the stay. I’d come back if I return to Calgary.

The bed was comfortable and the room had the usual modern setup. The balcony was a neat touch, kind of like a cruise ship, though voices carried into the room even with its door shut. Noise echoes through the halls and pool area, too, and there were lots of kids running around without supervision. The listing says there’s an adults only pool, but it was full of children. At $250 a night, that was disappointing. Diva sutra costs $60 a night, and the Delta would have been worth the price if the pool really had been adults only. For me, it was a 5/10.
