Executive Residency by Best Western Calgary City V

We spent 13 nights here while selling our home, and the staff treated us very well throughout. The front desk, cleaning, and wait staff were all kind and professional. Manager Vivek Neopane is very good at his job, and you could feel that in the atmosphere during our stay. The rooms have kitchenettes and are well set up. I highly recommend the hotel for its facilities, staff, and proximity to the Calgary airport.

Getting there was easy both times: on my first visit I took the 300 bus, with a stop about five minutes from the hotel, and the next time I used the comfortable airport shuttle. The rooms and facilities were clean, and the hotel was quiet, with friendly customer service. Breakfast cost extra, but it was worth it. Dinner at the restaurant was good and came without a long wait. I’d recommend the lamb shank and fries, and they had a good selection of house wine. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Vivek, the general manager, went above and beyond for our group, and all the staff were amazing. We had nine people in Calgary for my daughter’s graduation and booked four rooms. Every room was clean and outstanding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The pool and hot tub were a nice way to unwind after a busy few days. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to Calgary.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s lots of shopping close by, and the location made it easy to get back on the road. The rooms are nice and the beds are soft. We stayed on the main floor, though, and could hear people from other rooms or the dining area through the vents. The stairwell was a handy way to reach the pool on the lower floor, but it was being used for storage, so we had to maneuver around empty crates. The pool and hot tub also need a good scrub, with a lot of scunge on the tiles at the waterline. I peeked at the breakfast buffet and it looked really good, with a great price. We didn’t have time to eat there. I’d booked a kitchenette so we could make meals and save money and calories, lol. We’d stay again and recommend it.
