O Stays Union Square

The building is well maintained, and the maintenance improvements and upgrades made over the past few years are really paying off. The location is great, with walking access to downtown, Calgary Stampede Grounds, BMO Center, Saddledome, 17th Avenue, Fourth Street, MNP Health Center, and more. First Street Market is wonderful and right in the complex. There are also 24-hour fitness options close by, Hotel of Arts, fine dining, coffee shops, and other amenities.

I've lived here for two months, and the AC doesn't cool. The pipes whistle so loudly that I wake up every night. This awful pipe noise has been going on for months, and they do nothing.

For two months now, the hot water I've been getting from the tap has looked like this.

The location is convenient, and First Street Market is great, but I'd caution people against buying or renting in this building, as others have also said. There have been lots of water problems over recent months, including floods and shutoffs so piping can be cleaned or fixed. That's inconvenient, and it means a steady flow of people coming into your unit. There have also been elevator and A/C problems.
