The service is what makes the Inn on Officers’ Garden special. From the time my friend and I arrived for our three-night visit to Calgary, the hospitality felt genuine and warm, and we felt right at home. Bobby and Sean deserve a special thank you for giving us so much of their time and taking extra care with our special requests. The location is excellent, and the accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. It's a real hidden gem, close to great restaurants, and the inn's own restaurant is outstanding too. Don't miss it. We'd highly recommend staying here and would return in a heartbeat.

Bobby, our server, made the evening feel special from start to finish. He's a knowledgeable sommelier who shared wine pairing insights, suggested great choices, and surprised us with a rare treat at the end. My wife and I were warmly welcomed and shown to a lovely table for two beside the indoor tree, in a room with a relaxing, cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed soup, an appetizer, filet mignon, and dessert, and the meal was excellent in every way. My wife said it was one of the best she'd ever had. We want to thank Chefs Richard and Lucas for their skill and care with the food. It's clear the people here take pride in what they serve and the service they provide. Based on this evening at their restaurant, we'll be back and would recommend it to anyone wanting fine dining.

The food was good, though there weren't many choices on the spread. When I first walked in, the place felt familiar, and Don, our server, was warm and friendly. It was a good brunch, with the feel of dining at a four-star private retirement home in the city.

The warm, intimate atmosphere and historic charm of The Inn on Officers' Garden made this one of the highlights of my trip. It blends its 1930s heritage with cozy, thoughtful updates, and the property feels special if you like boutique historic inns more than generic hotels. The Queen Elizabeth Suite is worth treating yourself to. I stayed there on January 4, 2026, and felt like royalty for the night. It has elegant historical details, including lovely pictures of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip from their actual visit to Calgary. The suite brings the past to life while still having the modern comforts you'd want. It felt like more than a room, like a piece of living history. I can't recommend it enough if you want to feel pampered and connected to Calgary's past, and genuinely like a queen or king. Don't hesitate to book the Queen Elizabeth Suite.

The Inn's history shows throughout the building, including pictures of a younger Queen Elizabeth, who visited Calgary years ago. The atmosphere is charming, and it seems popular with locals, who filled the lovely dining room for dinner and weekend brunch. The Inn is also within walking distance of several good restaurants. We stayed over the weekend of Jan 29 - Feb 1-26, and were impressed by so many things. The rooms were efficiently laid out and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They made us feel at home throughout our stay. Everyone we met was professional and accommodating. Special thanks to Mughit, who looked after us at breakfast; Sean and Bobby, who handled our unusual requests and made it possible for us to watch my son's hockey game; Nejat and Bets, who took care of our rooms; and Xavier, Milla, Annette, and Thomas, who made us feel at home. We can't thank you enough and highly recommend the Inn to anyone visiting Calgary.
