Terrace Suites

We stayed for a week at Terrace Inn Suites on August 11, 2025. The property sits on a golf course above Lake Nipissing, and the views from the main building and upper rooms are stunning, especially at sunset. Our room was a lower-level unit in a cabin at the back, so the view wasn’t as impressive. If seeing the lake matters to you, I’d ask for an upper-level room facing the front. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and excellent shower. It’s a short drive to downtown North Bay, close to Callander, and near several Lake Nipissing beaches. Rates were very reasonable, and we appreciated being able to use the on-site BBQs. There’s a pre-made breakfast menu, with food delivered to your room to reheat in the morning. It’s a convenient idea, though delivery was missed a few times during our stay, which was disappointing. The place is peaceful and comfortable, and the setting, accommodations, and value are all great. With some small improvements to breakfast service, it could be outstanding.

The staff were welcoming and knew the area well, and the rooms were spacious and clean. That soft, inviting bed and a hot rainfall shower on a cold night were just what I needed. The view overlooking the bay is majestic, just beautiful. It was worth every penny, and I’ll be back soon. Thanks to the staff.

Our overnight staycation in a King suite with a fireplace and hot tub was just what we needed. The cabin feel, all the privacy, and the wonderful lake view made it lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. It doesn’t get much better. We’ll be back.

I loved the place as soon as I walked in. The rooms and beds were very clean, and our room was cozy, warm, and lovely. It’s a beautiful location with nice people, and the service was really good for what we paid. You can use the outdoor BBQ and sit by the outdoor fireplace on a cold night. Highly recommend, 10/10.
