The noise was the main downside during a very busy Family Day weekend, when the hotel was full, including many hockey families. The walls are thin, and we could hear a TV blaring late into the night in the next room and rowdy kids nearby. Still, we had a great stay and would happily return. The place was beautiful and very clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and a large corner balcony that was a nice bonus for our family. The gym had all the equipment you need, and it was all new Technogym gear. There’s an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and sauna. The steam room wasn’t available during our visit. Pool access was only about 20 steps away, straight from the change rooms. The staff were amazing. They checked in each night to see if anyone needed supplies, and the fresh cookies were delicious. The water refill fountain was handy too.

Nancy’s birthday weekend at Naturally Pacific Resort in Campbell River turned out to be unforgettable. The resort’s modern, earthy design felt relaxing, with ocean and mountain views, and our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The beds were next-level, and thoughtful touches made it feel special for a celebration. The highlight was Immersion Spa + Wellness. We booked couples massages, and the therapists were skilled and attentive. The mineral pool, sauna, steam room, and peaceful atmosphere helped us unwind completely. Nancy said she’d never felt so pampered, and I agreed. We left rejuvenated and blissed out. Book treatments ahead, they’re worth every penny. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with fresh local flavors and lovely presentation. A birthday dessert made Nancy smile from ear to ear. The staff were friendly and proactive throughout and made us feel celebrated. This place is a gem on Vancouver Island, great for a romantic milestone, relaxing, or enjoying the scenery. We’re already talking about coming back. Thanks, Naturally Pacific Resort, for making Nancy’s birthday magical. Easily one of our favorite stays ever, five stars.

The staff were wonderful, and the rooms came with robes and slippers, plenty of towels, and a great selection of toiletries. We loved the indoor heated pool and outdoor hot tub. The food menu was fantastic too: we spent two hours sharing four appetizers, brought out one at a time. It’s a stunning, luxurious place at an affordable price, just off the highway, close to downtown Campbell River, and a little over half an hour from Courtenay. I’ll absolutely stay again when I’m in the area.

It’s a nice resort on a hill by a golf course, with distant water and mountain views depending on the room. The entrance is lovely, and the bell hop and front desk staff gave great service. Our room was a good size, very clean, and had an extra seating area. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were nice and spacious. The steam room was out of order, but the sauna was good. We didn’t try the attached restaurant, but the food at the nearby driving range eatery, Velocity, was really good, especially the pizza and tacos, and the service was excellent. The hockey teams staying there made our romantic weekend chaotic. We would have appreciated a room away from the yelling and running around. I overheard other guests complaining that kids were running and yelling in the pool area and breaking things in the courtyard. We tried the hot tub several times on Sunday, but it was packed with kids and there was no room. I’d stay again, but would check first for tournaments in the area.

My son and I had a great 18-hole round with two friendly golf course members, using top-end carts. It was my first time in Campbell River, and I’ll definitely stay here again. We spent two nights and played a round of golf. Our top-floor room faced the ocean, was super clean, had amazing views, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was great at both the restaurant and driving range lounge. Saturday night was lively at the range, so make a reservation. We still hit a bucket of balls from the range mats. On Sunday, staff happily took my clubs from the room to the pro shop, where they put them on my cart before we went out. After the round, they brought the clubs back to the room. We also had great local beer and food at the bar at the driving range. The pool and hot tub were very busy Saturday night, but I had them to myself at noon Sunday. The pool was clean and had fresh towels. The room had great Nespresso coffee and nice glass bottles of water. I tipped well for my requests and was met with smiles, hellos, and lots of “sir.” If you’re thinking of staying here, do. It was a great experience.
