Late night partying in the rooms was the only thing I didn't like. If people want to stay up late, I wish they'd consider a B&B style place, since families with young kids expect to sleep at a hotel. Otherwise, this is a good family hotel, and it seems to have lots of return guests. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool and hot tubs were clean and well cared for. There's also a games room with a pool table and big screen for movies, plus a small playroom for little kids. You'll need a vehicle because it's about a five-minute drive out of town.

The rooms are comfortable, though a bit dated, and the front desk employees are friendly and informative. We stay at WorldMark in Canmore when visiting Banff National Park and the surrounding areas. It's conveniently located, just a few minutes from good restaurants and shops, with freeway access nearby. The BBQ grills are free to use. Parking gets pretty busy, though, and it's hard to find a spot if we get back late in the evening.

The hot tubs and sauna were the highlight of our February 2026 stay. After long days exploring Banff, we used the dry sauna near the indoor hot tub and enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor tubs daily. The outdoor one was usually busy in the evenings, but the indoor tub was available and just as enjoyable. The pool connects a small indoor section to a mostly outdoor area. It was slightly heated, but in that extremely cold February weather, I wished the water had been warmer. Temperatures ranged from -13°F to 11°F. We had booked two 2-bedroom suites, and they were clean, cozy, and comfortable. Each had a king bed, a queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa, plus the usual timeshare amenities. The mini kitchen had a microwave, stove/oven, toaster, and coffeemaker, with utensils, kitchenware, and bakeware, so cooking was easy. The location was convenient for Canmore, though the property feels dated and could use a general update. The hallways are quite dim and need better lighting. Check-in and communication also caused some frustration and affected our first impression. Even so, we made the most of the amenities during our winter stay.

Canmore itself is quaint, with unique shops and good restaurants, and feels much less commercialized than Banff. This hotel was much better value than staying in Banff. It's about 40 minutes to Banff Sunshine and an hour to lake louise. You may need a car if you want to go beyond Canmore, though I believe there's bus service in town, which we didn't use. Staff were very good and couldn't have been more helpful. The main option is a one-bed unit, a little small but perfectly fine for a couple. There's a nice indoor-outdoor pool and hot tubs, free underground parking, and plenty of outdoor parking too. The kitchen has no oven, but it does have a microwave, cooktop, full-size refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, and is fully stocked. On-site laundry is plentiful and free, though not in the room. We'd definitely stay here again.

I almost didn't post this because I selfishly didn't want word getting out about a great place and making it busier and more expensive. We had a wonderful March stay in a clean, well-appointed two-bedroom suite, with kitchenware for the cooktop. The pool and hot tub area was the trip's highlight, though, as other reviews have said, you have to time your visit to avoid crowds. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The water went out for about 1.5 hrs during our stay through no fault of the hotel. Within 30-45 mins, they delivered free bottled water to us, which was nice. Our room had a lovely mountain view, though it's sad that a new building is going up and will block some of it. Would love to stay here again!
