We picked this place for the clockwise snowmobile loop and shorter days. Our first leg to Mint Laurier was just 160km. The owner was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. He pointed us toward restaurants, and we could leave our trucks and trailers in his back courtyard. Everything worked out well, and I’d stay again in summer.

There’s a water view and lovely sunsets here, yet it stays quiet even though the motel is right on Rte 132. Clean, cheerful, friendly place.

We were eight people on a snowmobile trip, and Mario and his wife were fantastic. The building is older but well cared for. We had a great meal, and Mario showed us how to get back out to the trails in the morning.

The owners are a lovely couple who give personal service that's second to none. We had homemade dinner and breakfast at a great price, with warm hospitality and a story or two from our host. The place sits by the water in a quaint village overlooking the Saint Laurence. I can't say enough about the whole experience, and we'll be back.
