There was mold and spiderwebs, peeling paint, nail polish on the table, fingerprints on the TV, and stains on the towels. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, a problem for me because I'm allergic. I asked for a ground-level room because of accessibility issues, but the heater barely worked and cold air came through the door, which needed weather stripping. The curtain didn't cover the whole window either. This place needs major repairs, and there was filth everywhere. With maintenance made a priority, they could charge a lot more.

The front desk staff were friendly and gave us lots of helpful information. We were there overnight for a wedding nearby. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and well furnished. For the price, it was a great deal.

The staff were kind and accommodating, and the bed was super comfortable. Our room at Le Grand Kent Motel in Chatham was clean, and it was a quiet, convenient spot for a short stopover. I'd happily stay here again.

Flies were coming out of my sewer drain. This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed, just an awful place to stay.

I had booked from out of town, but reached the motel after the main office had closed. The owner was on the premises, so I called him. He said he couldn't check me in and refused to refund my money. After sleeping in my car, I came back the next day to sort out the misunderstanding, but they still wouldn't give me a refund. Looking around, I saw how disgusting the place was. Probably for the best that I slept in the car.
