A quiet place to stop, with plenty of parking, even room for a semi truck. That’s more than I can say for downtown Carcross. The family run restaurant works hard, the food is great, and the inside is very clean. Real hard ice cream is a nice bonus. If you’re stopping for ice cream, this is the spot.

The family who run Spirit Lake Motel were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. We had a great stay and really enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant.

The hotel was very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Under new management, the family there are friendly and helpful. I got takeout because I had my dog with me, and they even offered to bring it to my room. My bison burger and onion rings arrived quickly, with a bottle of water. They're open until 8 daily and closed Tuesdays. I'd stay here again.

We came in for burgers, but the menu had more variety than I expected. One of us got a burger and loved it; I ordered the curry noodle bowl, and wow, it was so delicious, with a rich, satisfying broth. Such a nice surprise. The restaurant was really clean too.
