Chamcook Forest Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Don was so thoughtful, from sharing local recommendations to having fresh croissants ready in the morning. When I mentioned my sprained ankle, Jenny even offered Epsom bath salts for a soothing foot soak. Don, Jenny, and Olympia the cat were lovely, genuine hosts. Staying in their home felt like an authentic B&B, which seems rare these days. Thank you both! Highly recommend, and I’d definitely return 🙂

I left a jacket in the closet, and Don was kind enough to mail it back to me. Our family of five had a wonderful, though much too short, stay. The room worked perfectly for all of us, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed getting to know Don and the other guests. The owner showed us care and hospitality that can’t be beat.

Breakfast was freshly made each morning, with homemade jams, croissants, and excellent coffee. Don and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome. The rooms were clean and spacious, with everything we could want. Thanks again, Don, for such a great stay. All the best!

We arrived just after dark on our motorcycles, tired, and with the town’s restaurants closing. Our host quickly made us some soup, which was awesome. The room was spacious, and breakfast in the formal dining room was great. The large house sits on huge acreage, so there’s plenty of privacy. The baths were clean and updated. Some minor renovations were underway, but they weren’t a problem.
