Prince Street Suites

David and Helen made our PEI weekend memorable, and we’d gladly recommend Princess Street Suites to anyone visiting Charlottetown. We’d planned a weekend getaway and wanted somewhere cozier than a hotel; Prince Street Suites was just right. We arrived later than expected without telling our hosts, but they’d already prepared everything, which made arrival thoughtful and stress-free. The little details felt carefully handled without being overdone, from the warm welcome to the generous but not excessive breakfast display. David and Helen clearly take pride in their work, and their hospitality felt both warm and professional. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you, David and Helen.

David and Helen were pleasant, helpful hosts, and the continental breakfast each morning was delicious. Our room was clean and well appointed, with an AC unit we could adjust to our comfort. It was a little small for luggage, but we managed and didn’t find that inconvenient; that wasn’t surprising in a historic building. Room 2 has a very tall bed, which could be tricky to climb into if you’re short. The location is ideal for exploring Charlottetown. Most places we wanted to see were an easy walk, so we didn’t need a rental car. This little B&B-style hotel was a great introduction to PEI hospitality, and I’d absolutely stay again on our next visit.

The location puts you right in the middle of things, with easy walks wherever you want to go, and parking was easy to get in and out of. The owners clearly pay attention to details, and the hotel was extremely clean. Our room had lovely linens and antique furniture. Each morning there was a nice breakfast spread with fresh berries, hard-boiled eggs, homemade muffins, meat, and more. The room was a bit small, though the bathroom was quite large. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cute, quirky, and very clean, this was a good affordable base for our Charlottetown visit. Restaurants, shops, and the port are all nearby. Our room was small, but it worked fine, and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was fresh and healthy. We only saw the hosts a few times, but they were friendly and seemed to care about our comfort.
