We were in the area for a hockey tournament in Grand Forks, and staying here was a pleasant surprise. The drive was worth it. It’s a cute, quaint motel with nicely renovated, clean rooms. There was plenty of space for our families to eat, gather by the fire pit, and spend time at the pub in the backyard. Thanks for a great visit. If we’re back in the area, we’ll return. We stopped here for a night while passing through and had a wonderful stay. The owner was very friendly, and our room was cute, clean, and comfortable. The pub on the property was fantastic too. Don’t miss the brisket!

For $240 a night, I expected better. There was sand all over the floor when we arrived, and the room seemed poorly maintained. The sink was cracked and sharp, and the fridge was rusty and pretty gross. As you can see in the photos, the view from our room was amazing, but the people upstairs were so loud I could tell exactly where they were the whole time. We also had no hot water when we showered. I mentioned it at checkout, and the response was, “Oh? I’ll let the maintenance guy know.” We would’ve been better off sleeping in our tent by the side of the road.
