Riverview Suites

The rooms were clean and large, but they weren’t suites, just rooms with a shared kitchen. Our window looked into a window well instead of the river view advertised. Water pressure was very low, and the TV was hard to operate. I expected more for $200.

The river is right beside the suites, with several benches where you can sit outside and watch wildlife. I saw sea otters while relaxing by the water with the ducks. We were there for a few nights for my son’s softball tournament. The rooms were clean and had AC. There’s a shared kitchen with two stoves, two fridges, and complimentary coffee and tea, though I ate at local restaurants and didn’t use it. I was very satisfied, enjoyed my stay, and would come back if I’m in the area again.

Arriving at night with a small child was difficult. There’s no lobby or staff on site, so you have to try to sort things out by phone with customer service. Our confirmed online booking had been quietly cancelled, and we weren’t guaranteed a place to sleep after booking. They made us rebook, then charged the credit card a higher amount without authorization. The manager wouldn’t fix the difference, and it still hasn’t been resolved. It was almost empty during high season. Be prepared to get scammed.

We’ve stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. The rooms are wonderful, clean, and spacious, and the common kitchen is a nice extra. You get a PIN ahead of time for entry, and the system works smoothly.
