Seafarers Bed & Breakfast

Everything in the room worked, and it was clean and comfortable in a great location. The stay was still spoiled by the breakfast issue: we’d requested a plant-based meal weeks ahead when booking, but they couldn’t provide one. People in hospitality should be ready for guests who avoid meat, eggs, and dairy, as well as those with needs like gluten-free, peanut-free, kosher, Muslim, or other dietary restrictions and allergies. If you can’t or don’t want to accommodate these, please say so when people book so they can choose somewhere else. It’s not hard, and these needs aren’t unusual.

We were across the street from Chesterman Beach, which I like much more than Long Beach. Maria was an amazing hostess, and her homemade breakfasts were so delicious that I left completely stuffed. I’m already determined to come back.

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, with plenty of pancakes and fruit, sausage, and homemade croissants and muffins. Our stay in this charming B&B was very pleasant. The bedroom was huge, with a fireplace, a jacuzzi tub, and a comfortable king bed.

We were just a minute’s walk from the beach, and every day began with one of Maria’s carefully plated breakfasts. The room felt perfectly put together for a Tofino stay, with rain jackets, a jacuzzi, a fireplace, and a tea and coffee station. We enjoyed all of it.
