The nearby bus stop made getting around easy, and breakfast was included each morning. I stayed for 12 days and had a great experience. The room was cleaned daily and had two queen beds, plus a well-equipped kitchen with the essentials: knives, bowls, and spoons. There was also a toaster, coffee machine, and microwave.

The hotel room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The building is older, but clean and well maintained. The staff seemed stretched thin, though, especially during breakfast. A large group of guests on government assistance would arrive together and take all the food, seemingly enough for their families for the day. Each time the food was replenished, it disappeared again, leaving little for others. The staff tried to keep up, but it was an ongoing struggle. Kids were running around the hotel lot early in the morning, and their parents didn’t seem concerned about the disruption. I was disappointed not to be able to enjoy breakfast as a paying guest, especially with the room costing $120 a night. It was frustrating to see food meant for other guests being taken. The hotel should manage breakfast better or make expectations about shared spaces clearer. The room and front desk staff were excellent, but the breakfast situation affected our stay enough that we’ll look at other hotels next time. I hope they can find a better balance for everyone.

The room was clean and the price was good, and we slept really well because it was quiet overnight and the bed was comfortable. Still, we probably wouldn’t come back. The pillows felt like big, hard bags of flour, and the lights were much too bright. The bathroom fan was loud and annoying, and since it comes on with the light, you can’t use the washroom without it running. We went elsewhere for breakfast because the complimentary options were minimal.

I’m usually nervous about hotel bugs or contamination, but I’d stay here again without worrying. The room was spotless, very clean, modern, and looked recently renovated.
