Comfort Inn & Suites Cochrane ON

I loved the stay. The room was nice, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful new hotel and snowmobile-friendly, with a huge breakfast area and loads of seating that works for groups or people travelling alone. Hosted by Comfort Inn: thanks, Charles, and thanks to Munjab for the kindness and quick smile. I enjoyed chatting with you.

The hall was really cold, like the A.C. was running full blast. Also, the click floors don’t soften the noise from kids running up and down the hall, and they don’t help keep the rooms warm. Still, the hotel was only about six weeks old, so everything felt fresh and clean. Our room was spacious, the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, and the bed was soft, comfortable, and warm. The breakfast area was clean, not sticky, had lots of seating, and a good selection. It’s easy to find on the way into town.

I travel around the province quite a bit, and this place is top notch. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and always greet you with a smile. Breakfast was great, and I really liked that the kitchen guy came around to clear plates and offer refills. I’ve never seen that before. The hotel is a great addition to Cochrane, and I can’t wait to come back. It’s ¼ mile from the snowmobile trail.

Breakfast was good, but the cleanliness was questionable. The floors in our suite were disgusting and didn’t look vacuumed at all, and someone else’s hair was still in the shower. For a newly built Comfort Inn, I expected better cleanliness and hospitality. You’d think they’d want to build a good reputation while it’s new. The reservation was under my husband’s name. This was a horrible first visit, and my last.
