The rooms are a little dated, but have the essentials: a fridge, microwave, and shower with really good water pressure. There’s plenty of room for sled gear and other luggage. The service is amazing, and room prices are very reasonable compared with other hotels. Best of all, it’s right on the main snowmobile trail, with a large parking lot and a heated shop. You can put your sled inside after a ride, then start the morning warm and dry and head straight onto the trail. If you’re coming to sled in Cochrane, this is by far the best place to stay for your trip.

Neel, the owner, was friendly and gave us customer service that went way above and beyond. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the location is great, right on the OFSC trail system and close to food vendors and gas stations. We’ll definitely be back.

The room’s condition was unacceptable: the jacuzzi was visibly dirty, the carpet had red stains, the shower curtain was stained, there were handprints on the walls, and there was hair and visible staining on the bed. Staff weren’t consistently around and often left the property. We also felt uncomfortable in the dining area because of the surroundings and the behavior of people there. For safety, I wouldn’t eat or drink anything unless it was sealed. One staff member seemed disoriented during our stay and wore sunglasses indoors the whole time. After we ate, we felt unwell and decided to leave. When I returned to the lobby around 11:00 p.m., that same staff member was passed out in a chair near the entrance. He seemed startled and disoriented when he woke and noticed us. Getting checked in was extremely disorganized and took about 30 minutes. Nobody was at the front desk when we arrived, so we rang the bell, then called the number listed there and waited longer for help. The employee who finally arrived seemed unfamiliar with check-in and said we’d have to wait for another staff member to come back from town. I later had to return to the lobby to finish the paperwork. The experience was disappointing and concerning, and I can’t recommend this place. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re a woman travelling alone, please run as far as you can from this establishment.

We went to moonbeam for a day of sledding, and called north adventure inn for a room. They said the only availability was the 2 bed igloo, warned that the lot was super full, and told us to back in from the road if possible because we wouldn’t be able to turn around. But when we arrived, there were maybe 2 other vehicles there. Once we said we were staying the night, they gave us a hard time. At 10pm we waited almost an hour just to get a room key. We were exhausted and went straight to bed. The next morning we woke up itchy as hell and looked around the “igloo”: it was infested with bed bugs and mold, and nothing had been cleaned before we arrived. There were about 10 mouse traps around the room. The stove and heat didn’t work, thank god we had a buddy heater. We complained, but they didn’t seem concerned or even offer a refund. I have video proof of all this and am shocked the place is still open. Be aware, I think most reviews here are fake accounts. Sledders, I highly suggest staying away from this cockroach- and mold-infested motel. Happy riding, boys and girls!

Don’t waste your money. The rooms don’t get cleaned, and my pillows, sheets, and towels had weird stains. The floor was coming off or chipped at the corner. Service was barely there, with nobody at the front desk and the kitchen never open when it should be. There are better places in Cochrane. Honestly, don’t come here. No wonder the place is so dead all the time, it sucks.
