Marble Inn Resort

I liked the river access, where you can rent kayaks or paddleboards, and the curry from the takeout restaurant was tasty. The rooms are roomy with nice balconies, though the beds felt a bit hard. There’s a salt water pool and a very small gym with weights only up to 25lbs. Since the gym connects to the pool area, it gets humid, and there’s no AC, just a little window for airflow. You can do laundry with the one washer and dryer. A rooster wanders around, and I spotted two cute bunnies.

The front desk ladies were wonderful, but the owner/Manager was horrible. Guests are expected to wash their own towels, which I’ve never run into before. If you don’t have time or enough coins for their machine, they charge an extra $25 dollars + a day for basic towel service, just two bath towels and two hand towels. Every other resort in the world offers that free.

The view was nice, and you can walk to Marble from this location. Breakfast was a hassle in its own way: the complimentary continental spread was just 3 cereals, 1 crossaint and 1 danish, though there’s a paid option. The pool was nice too, but having to reserve a time for it was an added inconvenience. We had mud on the floor and no housekeeping service or way to clean it. Staff first told me to walk it in, then handed me a broom after I pressed the issue.

We’ve come back for a second stay and love it here. The condo is lovely, especially having a balcony of our own to relax on. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Thanks again for the great accommodations!
