My wife’s and my health and safety came first, so we left without ever going to a room. At 3 pm, the manager was sitting outside in pyjamas, smoking and drinking coffee on a bench. Cigarette butts were scattered around the property, and local residents were hanging out there. When I said we wouldn’t check in, she immediately said there’d be no refund. I told her I’d take it up with booking .com. She was very rude and told me not to judge a book by its cover. I said I’d looked at the cover and gone right to the end. I’ve contacted booking . com and strongly recommend that nobody stay here.

We needed help with a situation, but the person I assume was the owner was nowhere to be found. We rang the bell and called, with no answer, then noticed the “owner” sitting in the room next to the entrance, drinking coffee like nothing was happening. When I explained the problem, all I got was, “well what do you want me to do”. We managed to sort it out ourselves, because otherwise we’d have been stuck. The staff were unfriendly and hard to approach. The whole place had the feel of a horror movie set. Never again.

Ms. Ellie at reception made me feel so welcome and was really helpful. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and simple, just what I needed. I had a great stay at Regency Inn & Suites and appreciated the hospitality. It was worth it, and I’ll definitely be back.

The staff were very nice, and the rain shower and soaker tub were cool features. The room still had issues, though: it was too bright at night, the AC wasn’t great, and there wasn’t even a soap holder in the shower. It wasn’t terrible, but for nearly 300, I wouldn’t call it good.

The atmosphere and clientele felt super sketchy, and the place was horrendously disorganized and disrespectful. If you’re traveling with family or seniors, I’d move on. There are better quality options. 🤮
