Comox Valley Inn & Suites

My wife and I were going through a very hard time with our family pet in critical care. Other hotels and motels weren't willing to help when we needed it, but Raj at the front desk was. She showed real care and empathy, bringing a little light into a dark moment for us. Thank you again, Raj, for your kindness and hospitality. We won't forget it. ❤️

When no one else could help us, this Inn did. Raj, I hope I have your name spelled right, was sincere, understanding, and empathetic. Her kindness gave us a moment of peace in a very difficult time. If you happen to read this, our cat Hughie made it through the night. He’s still hospitalized, but we’re staying positive. Thank you again for your compassion and help.

The hotel was clean and good value for its location, with a deep tub and a small breakfast and lunch restaurant attached. Beautiful downtown and the museum are within walking distance, and the sushi place next door was amazing. The main-floor room near the stairs was noisy from suitcases banging, and both nights the neighbors above us were loud. I also wish there had been more than two pillows in the room.

The room was spotless, with no carpet and the whitest, freshest bedding I've ever seen. It had a fridge, microwave, and eating bar, and there were shops a short walk away. The coffee was the best. We also used the laundry room and ate at the on-site Hen & Hog, which serves breakfast and lunch with cocktails. It's pet friendly, with a lovely dog walk along the river, plus poop bags and a garbage bin. Well done Comox Valley Inn & Suites 😊 I picked this motel for the price and location, but it offered so much more. Susan at the front desk arranged a brilliant early arrival.
