The rooms and shower area had mold, and my mold allergies left my eyes and sinuses clogged the whole time I was there. The parking lot was awful too: its potholes are huge and deep. After driving through it to visit a friend, my car's suspension was completely wrecked. Don't drive in faster than 5 clicks!

The heater was the main problem. It was an old baseboard unit, and even with it turned all the way up, I stayed cold through the night. The room itself was dated, but it had hardwood floors, two comfortable beds, a fridge, a TV, and a bathroom. The bath mat looked pretty old, and I wouldn't use it. We arrived very late, or maybe early in the morning, and I think we woke the woman up. She came out with the key and was friendly. I was skeptical at first, but we just needed somewhere to crash. It was affordable, and a cab from downtown Oshawa wasn't too expensive. There was a Tim Horton's within walking distance. I missed the ice cream place because I left just before checkout, and anyway, it was winter. I'd probably stay again in a pinch if I needed a place near Oshawa.

The check-in guy was nice, so he gets the only star. We didn't stay: there were dirty sheets, hair all over the floor, and a really strong mold smell. The people living there seemed very dodgy, and we were worried about our safety. I can't believe I paid 100 bucks just to walk in and leave again.

I didn't stay, but people should be warned about how horrible it was. The coffee maker still had an old filter in it, and the heat wasn't even on. The woman who works there, or owns it, I assume, was the rudest person I've ever talked to. This is the nastiest place I've ever seen.

The sink tap in my room only had hot water, so getting a glass of water was out. Wifi was slow and often didn't work, and the bathroom fans were broken in the two rooms I've stayed in. The walls were thin, with holes and grafitti, and cops showed up often enough. On weekends it seemed to draw party kids, with lots of people smoking dope. The owner and cleaner seemed more focused on the ice cream shop than the motel, and got snarky when we asked for extra toilet paper. It's a cheap motel, but it lacks basic amenities. The sheets had cigarette burn holes, and the blankets, towels, and pillows were low quality for the price. I'd suggest staying somewhere else if you're in the area.
