Windermere Manor Hotel and Conference Centre

The venue looked lovely while set up for a wedding, and seemed well cared for. Huge windows let in plenty of natural light, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the yard outside was scenic and pretty. The wait staff were enthusiastic and polite, and the bar staff were quick and courteous :)

We chose Windermere Manor for our wedding on Sept 27, 2019, and it was our dream day. The venue’s historic beauty and charm spoke for itself, so we didn’t need much decoration. Lesley was amazing from our first meeting through the wedding day. She answered all our many emails quickly, helped finalize every detail, kept the event orders and pricing up to date, worked well with our other vendors, and made sure everything ran smoothly, including that we had food. A huge thank you to her. All the staff were wonderful too. Our family and friends loved the bartenders, and said the catering staff were friendly and professional. The food was amazing, and guests still tell us how much they enjoyed it. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you, Windermere Manor!

I attended a good friend's wedding reception here and loved the look and feel of the place. There were lots of photos taken in the great Hall, which even has a balcony for guests. The buffet and service were great, and the bar service and staff were great too. I’d recommend the venue for hosting a gathering.

The breakfast is a real highlight, and the staff are always helpful. It’s a good location for the University, with clean, standard rooms and a solid location. Nothing fancy, but everything is looked after. A good stay.
