TownePlace Suites by Marriott London

I travel often for work and usually stay at Marriott hotels. This was one of my better stays in the last few years, definitely 10/10. We were here for one night because my daughter had a basketball tournament in St. Thomas. Our updated room was clean, and having a kitchen with burners, pots, and standard dishes was a bonus. Breakfast was very good, with quiche, pemeal bacon, potatoes, and waffles my daughter enjoyed making. Every staff member we met was kind, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to Shakeilia, who greeted us at check-in, and Rose, who kept the breakfast food replenished and the area clean. I used Marriott points, with no trouble redeeming them.

I booked a room through the dayuse app and it was great. The reservation showed a king bed, but reception gave me a room with two queens, so I missed out on the king bed experience. Still, a great hotel, and I’m definitely coming back!😆

As a cabin crew member, I stay in lots of hotels, and this is one of my favourites. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The first visit left a lasting impression: the front desk welcomed me with warm smiles and made the place feel inviting right away. Rose and Donna deserve a special mention for breakfast. They were friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with genuine smiles and wonderful hospitality. Experiences like that make you want to return. Kudos to everyone at TownePlace Suites for the excellent service. I’ll definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the poor stay wasn’t their fault. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, so we cut our visit short and moved to a hotel just up the road with better beds. The breakfast was disappointing, even for a two-star hotel buffet. The walls seemed thin, so we could clearly hear conversations in the room next door and the one above. Our air conditioner was incredibly noisy, with an uneven run of creaks, groans, bangs, and other mechanical sounds that drowned out most of the outside noise. For a while it ran smoothly and silently, and we both thought it had finally died, but it was still on.
