The back section of rooms had a fire, so they're being renovated. They should be nice once finished. The road work nearby seems like it’s going to last a lifetime, though.

It’s not the fanciest motel, but it’s clean and the owners and staff are really friendly, nice people. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in London.

The room was barely basic. The air conditioner was so loud that I had to choose between putting up with the noise or turning it off and sweating. The toilet could hardly handle toilet paper. I had to plunge it myself, and then they charged me from my damage deposit. When I tried to use their towels to clean up and keep the mess down, they charged me for several too. That garbage management has lost my future business. I’ll be filing a chargeback with my bank for a full refund of this stay.

Quiet, clean, and comfortable. For those prices, I couldn’t ask for more.

Our train to London was delayed by hours, and the Motel 7 clerk called a few times to check that we were still coming. When we finally got there, the clerk was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and organized. It was an inexpensive one-night stay, nothing fancy, but it did the job as a place to sleep.
